Dear Sir,

I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 22nd instant infoming me that my letters of the 6th 9th 10th and 18th instant had been fully considered by the Executive Committee of the Royal Flying Corps Hospital and enclosing a copy of the resolution passed by them on the 21st instant.

The first three letters referred to had

already been considered at a Committee Meeting held

on the 10th November, when agreement was reached as

to the governing conditions for the administration

of the proposed Hongkong Extension of the Royal Flying Corps Hospital and it was decided to proceed with the

scheme at No. 82 Eaton Square.

General Henderson's letter of the 13th inst.

gave notice of his intention to propose at a meeting called for the 21st instant a resolution, the terms of which involved the cancellation of that agreement. At that meeting it was decided to hold his resciution

over, pending the result of an interview which Sir

Thomas Berridge was deputed to arrange with me. Fol-

lowing upon this interview I wrote - letter of the

18th, my idea being to place it upon resord that in view of General Henderson's expressed desire to

abandon
